First time using the Bakersfield public transportation!

I'm a big believer in public transportation. We always used a variety of it when we lived in Venice, CA.

Our Mini Cooper is still in the shop, so I decided to take the 21 to Enchanted Cottage for my Saturday shift. The bus has a stop right across from it.

All went well. The bus was on time and clean. The bus driver, a young woman with shoulder length, black hair, even let me sit down before moving again. (Rarely did that happen in LA.)

There was a mini library on my bus called the Reading Express. No books in it though. Still, a great idea.

Hopefully, the ride home at the end of my shift will go as well.
